Wonderful

Beautiful building with very spacious grand bedroom, Right in the centre of town but super peaceful and comfortable.

Didn't have time to use the spa this time unfortunately!

A great hotel in style of the old city centre.

The hotel is very good, it goes well with the style of the city. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good, the room was clean and very spacious, if I'm going back, I'll definitely stay there again.

The pool and the spa were closed or they were doing maintenance, so couldn't try it. There are only one or two temporary parking spots in front of the hotel, which makes your baggage drop from and to the hotel a little bit more complicated since there is no other space to park close to the hotel.

Perfect location for short stay in Ubeda

Fabulous location, very attentive staff, great welcome - water or cava and overall architecture of the hotel. Bonus for these who travel via car - great parking.

It's a 5* hotel yet the furniture had burnt holes - a bit disappointing. Also I didn't like the lighting in the room -- too cool and without any ambience. Lastly, a little espresso coffee maker would be nice- standard addition in most hotels these days.

Amazing hotel in a perfect location with beautiful rooms and public spaces.

Beautiful hotel in historic centre. Rooms are very spacious and beautiful. Staff very helpful- would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury hotel at a good price.

Just fab!

This hotel has a great location. Is itself a destination too. The reception staff are great. One in particular had so much energy and just did everything. We have the most fabulos presidential suite for a couple of days and then a junior suite with good views so we could see the Easter processions. Would love to go back if we are ever in that area again.

Lovely Hotel

Free cava available,staff were very helpful generally but when we arrived,but there was a lack of information regarding Hotel facilities we basically had to find everything for ourselves although we were shown to our room

Everthing else is lovely especially the location and Spa which we loved !!

What was the highlight of Hotel Palacio De Úbeda

A totally unique hotel, perfect location and great staff, food and amenities.

I liked everything about this hotel, firstly the actual building is exceptional, an old palace (also on the sightseeing tours- you see groups being told about it outside the entrance). It's also right in the centre of the old town within the old city walls, so you can walk everywhere really easily. The rooms are huge, and clean and have amazing decoration and facilities (including a toilet that that has a control panel on the side!!!) There is a swimming pool, lounge and comfy reception area. The breakfast was really good a large range of very good food.

It would have been nice if the swimming pool had some heating, my wife managed a very quick swim but it was too cold for me and it is quite nice after a long day of walking to have a dip before going out for dinner (but this in no way reduces the score, it was amazing that it had a pool at all) The Wifi in the room was not that great but once again that doesn't affect the score as you can get great reception in the reception area that has comfy seats.

Wonderful

Ubeda is a lovely little town and worth a couple of days to explore. It has a very relaxed feel about it and beautiful architecture.

Can't think of anything except for the very poor quality of coffee in the room!

Excellent hotel in great location

Stayed in Junior Suite which was spacious, clean and luxurious. Rooftop pool very quiet and relaxing overlooking the rooftops of Ubeda. Staff very courteous. Excellent location, highly recommend.

Some noise from street outside during the night but apart from that no complaints.

Fabulous location, beautiful historic property, great value given quality of size of the bedroom.

Lovely room which was excellent value for money

Mostly everything was great, although the staff in the brasserie restaurant were a little young and inexperienced, however worked hard and were clearly learning.

Perfect stay!

The welcome on arrival was amazing, Juan on reception was charming and very helpful. The hotel staff parked our car for us. We had a beautiful suite just perfect for romantic break in exquisite Ubeda.

The only let down was the service at breakfast unfortunately the waitress behaved as she didn't care at all.

The property itself is outstanding. You definitely have the feeling you were in a palace and being spoiled. It is truly beautiful and luxurious.! We considered the Parador however, there is absolutely no comparison! We stayed in room 213. The room is probably 600 ft.² it has an enormous king size bed, tall ceilings, wood floors, a bathroom with a bidet, huge shower, slippers, robes, and you feel very pampered.

What we didn’t like was the shower floor. It definitely needed some cleaning with bleach. We did address this with the front desk and before we went to bed they cleaned and made it much better, but it still needs a thorough cleaning.

Great location in a stunning old renovated building in the heart of the city.

Location is excellent in the heart of the old city of úbeda within walking distance of all sights and the modern city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was spacious and well laid out.

Wifi didn't really work at all outside of the common areas on the ground floor - understandably because it's a very old property. connectivity in the town generally was poor and many shops shunned card payment because of this, preferring cash. The electricals circuit in our room didn't work on one side although to be fair they immediately identified this and provided a table for use on the other side for the coffee machine. In the bathroom shampoo was provided in the shower using a fixed dispenser, as is often done these days BUT that meant that we had no shampoo to use in the bath, which was a feature of the bathroom. These are all niggles and overall it was a lovely place.
