Wonderful
The hotel is situated in an ancient building which was renovated and reformed into a hotel in an interesting way.
In some cases the design does not meet the obvious function, f. e. it was not very comfortable to use the wash bowls situated in our room (not the bathroom).

A very pleasant anniversary treat.
The staff were lovely. Breakfast was excellent, and so was the waiter The food in the restaurant was very nice and plentiful and the older waitress was lovely The hotel is in the heart of the small city so we did not have to go far to see the Rennaisance buildings and architecture. The room was very comfortable and warm, and there was a heated toilet seat.

An impressive palatial building with old-style hospitality in a charming Renaissance town
The size of the room. It was a suite to which we were upgraded. The comfort of the extra large bed, the natural light, the size and the equipment of the bathroom. All was wonderful. Location is perfect. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and polite. The conversion of an old palace is done well with up to best standard facilities and very tasteful preserving as much as possible the charm of an old palace.
the breakfast could be slightly improved, particularly for the baked products offered.

Great location, great short stay. Not 5* but then not 5* prices
Great location. Very friendly staff. Large room/suite. Nice shower.
A little tired in some areas. Skirting boards were scuffed. Coffee maker intermittently worked - probably switch was faulty. Bath was in middle of the room. Car parking charge.
